The President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo -Addo, says the 62nd Independence celebration of Ghana will be held in Tamale as part of measures to enhance peace in Dagbon.
The President made the remark at the state of the Nation Address in Parliament Thursday.
“As part of the peace in Dagon, I have decided that the 62nd Independence Day Celebration on 6th March be held in Tamale.”
“We spent enough time, energy and money to resolve the Dagbon dispute and I pray that we all continue the process until peace becomes the fabric of Dagbon,” he said..
