Ghana’s COVID-19 deaths rise to 48 as case count hits 9,910

Ghana has recorded two more COVID-19 related deaths as the county’s case count rose to 9,910.

There have now been 48 fatalities, according to the Ghana Health Service.

The confirmation of 272 new COVID-19 cases in Ghana has pushed the country’s case count to 9,910 as of Monday, June 8, 2020.

There are currently 6,217 active cases

According to the Ghana Health Service, 3,645 people have recovered from the virus

Western North Region – 74

Upper East Region – 42

Northern Region – 37
