KATH CEO tested COVID-19 positive
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH), Dr. Oheneba Owusu Danso is reported to have contracted the novel Coronavirus.
Sources confirmed, the CEO as a result is seeking treatment at the facility’s Highly Infectious Unit (HIIU).
“He started showing symptoms last three days and when tested, the result was positive for the virus”, our deep throat source added in our several attempts to speak to the Public Relations Officer of KATH, Mr. Kwame Frimpong for confirmation or denial has yield no fruit.
Meanwhile, a total of 254 staff of the KATH have already tested positive for covid-19 since the outbreak in the country.
Two Hundred and three (203) out of the number have, however, recovered and were back at post while one had died.
