Prof Jane’s Mammoth Crowd At Central Region Could Mean Victory For NDC

The crowd the mobbed the Vice Presidential Candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Prof Nana Jane Opoku Agyemang today when she visited Cape Coast, could mean victory for the party. The mammoth sort of a rally filled the highway making it practically impossible for motorist to make their way through.

The Central Region, this year is on the radars of the NDC. It was without doubt when the former President John Dramani Mahama nominated Prof Nana Jane Opoku Agyemang as his running mate. Just as the late Prof Mills’ lineage to the Central Region, the NDC wish to make another historic penetration from parliamentary to presidential.

In the capital, Prof Jane’s presence was just electrifying. The street was just colourful and filled with shouts of the ‘John and Jane’ mantra.

This is indeed home, and power should beckon a new dawn for the NDC and John Mahama. In all her interactions with the market women, the call for women representation a the helms of government was much resonated.

But this numbers should translate into votes lest would be meaningless. Currently, the region is dominated by the New Patriotic Party. Overturning the numbers would be a challenging mission but not an impossibility.
