Porcupines face Sharks on Sunday
Coach Zdravko Logarusic and his fabulous lads will seek to continue their fine form in the 2016/17 Premier League when the welcome new boys Elmina Sharks to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday.
The match day five fixture, which will kick off at 3pm, will be the first Premier League clash between Elmina Sharks and Kotoko but the two teams have played a friendly match before which the Porcupines won last year.
At a time when Kotoko have had a relatively good start in the competition, Elmina Sharks will find the Porcupines hard to overcome in front their passionate fans who throng the stadium confident of victory.
While Kotoko have secured three wins and a draw in their four outings and are second on the table with 10 points – the same as that of Aduana Stars, Elmina Sharks have won, drawn and lost a game each. They have four points with an outstanding encounter with Wa All Stars on Wednesday March 1, 2017.
The outcome of their Wa game will definitely influence their preparation for Kotoko on Sunday, March 5, 2017 but the fabulous lads won’t be bothered by whatever fate Elmina Sharks suffer away in the Upper West Region.
Kotoko’s ultimate goal would be to train and get adequately prepared to neutralize any venom in their opponent who surely will be playing their biggest game in the league so far.
