Speaking to the crime officer of the Efiduase police, ASP Opoku Yamoah, told Otec fm that they rushed to the scene this morning immediatelt after the case was reported to them and found the body of a man belived to be in his 70’s stuck in a drain with almost full body jammed.
According to him, a man who claims to be brother to the deceased told the police that, “My brother is a known drunkard, he leaves early in the morning for his farm and often comes home around 8pm heavily drunk. We sometimes don’t even see when he retires to bed. I don’t think the police should bother themselves to do any investigations into his death. I don’t see any foul play.”
The body has been deposited in the Effiduase government hospital pending autopsy.
