K.M.A Boss sworn in

The Chief executive of the Kumasi metropolitan assembly (KMA), Osei Assibey Antwi has been sworn in to take the mantle as the KMA Boss.
The programme, which was held at the Regional Coordinating Council on Thursday April 13, was embraced by high profile personalities of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ashanti region, assembly members, chiefs, pastors and sympathetizers.
Hon Osei Assibey Antwi who was sworn in by the Ashanti Regional minister, Hon. Simeon Osei Mensah promised that the name Garden City of Kumasi will be back as they are embarking on serious work in the metropolis.
Mr Osei Assibey noted that the greatest challenges confronting Kumasi is poor sanitation, congestion, unemployment which need to be deal with to enhance development in Kumasi and Ashanti region in particular.
He was appointed in March 13th by President Nana Akufo Addo and received an overwhelming endorsement by the assembly members in March 17th. The Assembly had to postpone its first committee meeting because of the delay in swearing in the KMA boss to begin work.
Hon Osei Assibey Antwi therefore assured the assembly that he will work hard to deliver to the higher expectation of the Assembly
Hon Simon Osei Mensah the Ashanti regional minister charged him to seek consultation from Asantehene Otunfuo Osei Tutu II in order to achieve his goal, he also urged him to be humble before all men and collaborate with the assembly, according to the minister hardworking can only let him achieve his goal.
