Sekondi-Takoradi MCE arrested for dangerous driving, alleged assault of police officer

Police in the Western Region on Thursday (3 February) arrested Abdul-Mumin Issah, the MCE for Sekondi-Takoradi for an alleged motor traffic offence, verbal assault and offensive conduct against a police officer.

He has been charged with three counts.

A statement by the Western Regional Police Command said, “the MCE has been charged with three counts of assault on a public, offensive conduct conducive to breaches of peace and disturbing the peace in a public place…”

He is expected to be arraigned before the court on Friday, 4 February 2022.
