Nana Addo dazes NDC with unprecedented projects in Ashanti Region

The Governing New Patriotic Party NPP says unprecedented projects by President Akuffo Addo dotted across the Ashanti Region have dazed National Democratic Congress NDC.
The NPP in a press conference in at Kumasi on Thursday October 20,2022,said the NDC out of jealousy has resulted to spewing lies claiming that President Akuffo Addo has neglected the Ashanti Region in its development agenda.
Their press conference with was addressed by the Ashanti Regional Communications Director of the NPP Denis Kwalwa comes immediately after the four-day tour of the Ashanti Region by President Akufo-Addo where he commissioned and cut sod for major projects in the region.
Dennis Kwakwa during his address said the region had benefitted immensely from important projects including hospitals, roads, Airport, Markets, schools among others, adding that it will go a long way to enhance the livelihood of the people.
“The Ashanti Region is experiencing massive transformation since President Akuffo Addo’s NPP took over the reins of leadership and the NDC realising they are no match for the president’s effort has now resulted to churning lies to score cheap political points”.
In comparisons of records about which political party has helped in the development of the region, , Kwalwa stated under the AkufoAddo administration since 2017, a total of 264 killometres of roads have been completed by the urban roads department compared to the 75 killometres constructed by the NDC in 8 years.
He added that, 295 killometres of urban roads have been constructed by the Akuffo Addo lead administration in six years while only 51.40 killometres was completed by the NDC in Eight years.
On health, he said the NPP government has constructed 32 hospitals with 16 of under the Agenda 111 initiative , the 100-bed capacity Trauma Hospital at Obuasi, Okomfo Another Maternity ward among others.
He called on the public to always treat with contempt claims by the NDC that the NPP has done nothing for the Ashanti Region.
