NPP manifesto launch on Sunday sinful – Koku
Koku Anyideho
Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Koku Anyidoho, has criticised the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) for launching its manifesto on Sunday.
Mr Anyidoho says the launch of the manifesto on a Sunday will prevent the majority of Christian members of the NPP from attending church and worshipping God.
They are going to Trade fair to sin. The party has nothing better in their manifesto. That manifesto is the devil’s manifesto, Mr Anyidoho said.
He is convinced the opposition party is abetting the work of the devil.
Koku Anydoho was addressing NDC supporters at a rally in Ashaiman, in the Greater Accra Region on Sunday.
Thousands of NPP supporters thronged the Trade Fair Centre for a mammoth rally and that followed the launch of the party’s manifesto for the December elections.
Party leaders, Alan Kyeremanten, Hajia Alima Mahama, Maxwell Lugudor, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and flagbearer Nana Akufo-Addo took turns with promises of what they say are solutions to the challenges facing the country.
