PEACE COUNCIL CONDEMNS NDC PRESS CONFERENCE
The Chairman of the National Peace Council (NPC), Most Rev. Professor Emmanuel Kwaku Asante, has underscored the need for Ghanaians to remain steadfast and resolute in protecting the peace and stability the country’s forefathers fought to achieve.
Professor Emmanuel Asante caution Ghanaians especially the supporters of the soon to be governing party NPP who is alleged brutalizing and ceasing state properties from the supporters of the ruling NDC.
Professor Asante was responding to questions concerning NDC press conference held at Accra yesterday where the National chairman of the outgoing NDC Mr Kofi Portuphe ordered NDC sympathizer to defend themselves when they are attack by the NPP supporter.
He condemn the outcome of the press conference and advised the leaders to count on the police service when the need arise.
We cannot survive in a country where citizens are not law abiding, he said .
Professor Asante commended the police service and pleaded they should do well to bring the entire perpetrator on board to face the law.
