Nana Addo will reveal the true state of the nation – Ameyaw Kyeremeh

Majority chief whip for the Seventh Parliament of the Fourth Republic, Hon Kwasi Ameyaw Cheremeh says the true state of the nation shall be revealed after Nana Akufo-Addo is sworn in as president of the republic.

The member of parliament for Sunyani East in the Brong Ahafo region who sounded unconvinced about the outgoing presidents comments about Ghana’s economy during his state of the nation address, told otec fm that the real state of Ghana’s economy shall be revealed two months into Nana Addo’s assumption of office.

” The president failed to talk about the country’s financial status, which is the growth and backbone of every economy, but i don’t want to rush into anything because we will have the opportunity to analyze the state of the nation address in the days ahead” he said.

According to him, Nana Addo’s state of the nation address which will take place in March will be compared to that of President Mahama to ascertain the true state of the nation.

Hon Kwasi Ameyaw Kyeremeh has been nominated as majority chief whip for the Seventh Parliament of the Fourth Republic would be constituted on January 6, 2017, ahead of the official swearing-in of president-elect Nana Akufo-Addo, on Saturday, January 7.

He however promised to carry out his duties as majority chief whip lawfully to the growth and satisfaction of Ghanaians.
