Nana Addo’s regional ministers to be named from Jan. 24
The president, Nana Akufo Addo has indicated that his nominees for regional minister positions would be announced after January 24 when parliament resumes.
According to the president the names of the persons to occupy these positions have already been penciled but would be handed to parliament which is currently on recess.
The president said this at the announcement of the third batch of ministerial nominees on Thursday January 12, 2017.
The president however indicated that the names of the third batch of his nominees would also be presented to parliament upon resumption of the house.
So far 36 ministerial nominees have been named for various positions, awaiting parliamentary vetting and subsequent approval before they can start work.
