(PHOTOS) President, Veep and Parliament at Asantehemaa’s burial service

President Akufo-Addo, vice president Dr. Bawumiah and parliament have today joined Asanteman at the burial service of the late Asantehemaa, Nana Afia Kobi Serwaa Ampem.

Former presidents Jerry John Rawlings and John Agyekum Kufuor are all present at the burial service of the late Queenmother.

Otumfuor Osei Tutu II, is expected to pay homage to his mother and bid her farewell before the Anglican Church takes over with the burial service.

Today, Thursday, January 19, 2016 is the final day of the 4-day burial rites of the late Asantehemaa whose body has been lying in state since Monday.
