DOL: Pay officiating fees or be fined – Owoahene Acheampong

Chairman of the Division one League board, Owoahene Acheampong has warned that any divison one club which fails to pay the Two Thousand Nine Hundred and Fifty Cedis (₡2,950.00) officiating fees for the 2016/17  division one league season before the start of the second round shall be prosecuted.

He told Osei Akoto Kanu on Otec Royal Sports that the clubs made a request to the leadership of the football federation during the last stakeholders meeting of the DOL Board to take off the officiating fees which stood at Five Thousand Nine Hundred Ghana Cedis (₡5900.00) from their bills but the FA, after consideration decided to take only part of the fees off for the clubs to pay the rest.

Some of the division one clubs as at now have still not fullfilled their obligations and Owoahene Acheampong is reminding defaulting clubs to respect all Disciplinary Committee decisions, including fines and costs awarded in respect of the 2015/2016 season in full before the 2016/2017 GN Bank Division One League kicks off or risk the rod of the Disciplinary Committee.
