Nana Konadu made me cry – DKB

Ghanaian comedian DKB has said he broke down in tears following the comments by former First lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings.

Mrs. Rawlings had described the self-acclaimed King of Comedy as boring during a show she attended at the Accra International Conference Centre.

DKB, who accepted that his performance at the Easter Comedy Show was unimpressive, attributed the flop to the use of wrong jokes for the wrong target audience.

In an interview with TV3, DKB revealed that he was tough until the comments from Mrs. Rawlings.

“I got home and I was pondering over the whole thing and I’m human… I lost it and broke down, I cried,” the Comedian opined.

He added: “People think I’m that tough, yes I’m tough and all but you are tough till a former first lady kills your morale with her comments….you will cry, if it’s an ordinary person you will take it but coming from a high profile person it made me cry because I’m one of the admirers of Nana Konadu and it’s emotionally damaging when somebody you admire say such a thing about you …you can’t blame the person you blame yourself”.
