Otec FM’s Abasiriwa ordained to the priesthood in a colorful ceremony
Otec FM’s, Kwadwo Bawuah Adu-Gyamfi, known on airwaves as Abesriwa, the host of ”Atigya” programme on 18th October 2017 ordained to the priesthood in a ceremony at the Kumasi cultural center .
The ace broadcaster has been a blessing to many of his listening audiences during his days on Radio Mercury 91.5, Fox 97.9 fm, Metro 94.1 fm, Boss 93.7 fm and now at Otec 102.9 fm.
The ordination was officiated by the president of EA Outreach Ministry international and the founder of Player Palace in Huston, Texas USA.
The programme which was attended by hundreds of his admirers as the auditorium filled to its brim.
Amidst Supplications, drumming and dancing, the congregants sang songs of gospel praises to God the Supreme Being for making that colourful event successful.
In a sermon after anointing the ace journalist to the priesthood, Prophet Emmanuel Adjei advised Kwadwo Bawuah Adu-Gyamfi to abide by the teachings of the scriptures and serve God’s children with a clean heart.
He was presented with and international ministerial certification an gazetted license which allows him to operate both locally and internationally.
Prophet Emmanuel Adjei advised the newly ordained pastors to always put God first in all their endeavours.
He prayed that God gives him a “servant leader” attitude and wisdom to succeed.
Giving his acceptance speech Rev Kwadwo Bawuah Adu-Gyamfi said, “It is a great privilege for me to stand here to express my gratitude to God and all of you”.
Rev Kwadwo Bawuah Adu-Gyamfi admitted, “I know this position calls for a lot of responsibilities and challenges but with God and by His grace and with your cooperation we can perform up to expectation”
