Maidens starts world cup qualifiers in December
Black Maidens is set to start 2018 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup qualifiers in December against Sierra Leone/Gambia.
Ghana will face Sierra Leone/Gambia in the first round of the CAF qualifiers for the 2018 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
The first leg will be played on the weekend of 1-3 December, 2017 and the return clash between 15-17 December in Ghana.
The Black Maidens is one of the 6 teams who got preliminary round byes alongside Tunisia, South Africa, Equatorial Guinea, Nigeria and Cameroon.
The CAF qualifiers start in October with the preliminary round where 10 nations will be involved.
The 2018 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup tournament will be held in Uruguay from 13 November to 1 December 2018.
North Korea are the defending champions.
