DAY 7: Wives of Princes of the Golden Stool presents burial articles

The final funeral rites of the late Asantehemaa Nana Afia Kobi Serwaa Ampem II continues today Thursday, December 7 as the wives of the princes of the Golden Stool present customary burial articles (Adosoa and Futuo) to the Royal family at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi.

Performances of other traditional rites also continue, and the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II will sit in state to receive sympathizers, donations and distribute palm wine at Dwabrem, at the Manhyia Palace.

The final funeral rites for the late Asanatehemaa who passed away in November 2016 started from Friday, December 1 and ends on Sunday, December 15.
