Kotoko set to complete signing of Burkinabé midfielder

Current FA Cup winners Kumasi Asante Kotoko are close to announcing the signing of former Stade De Malian offensive midfielder SongneYacouba.

The 24year-old versatile man is poised to join the Ghanaian giants Kotoko will be representing Ghana in the CAF Confederations Cup level and they have been drawn with Congolese side CARA Brazzaville next year.

Porcupine Warriors are hoping to beef up their squad and Otecfmghana.com understands that the offensive midfielder has been training for the past two days now.

Otec Royal Sports understands that the Executive Board Chairman Dr. Kwame Kyei is out of town, hence the delay.

According to the reports,  Dr.Kyei is expected in the Garden city this weekend to finalize a deal with the  Burkinabé and other high profile players.

Yacouba was part of the Burkina Faso team that participated in the WAFU tournament hosted in Ghana in September this year and he caught the attention of the Porcupine Warriors for his skills and strength on the ball.
