“Nana Addo also asked you to pray for him to fulfill most of his campaign promises, in the area of getting more money for successful implementation of his policies like the free senior high school, one district one factory among others, for the creation of jobs in the country,” he added.

Hon. Osei Antwi in his speech also asked the Muslim community to pray for the residents in the city to abide by the KMA bye-laws to keep their environs clean.

Receiving the items on behalf of the Muslim community, the Ashanti Regional Chief Imam, Sheikh Abdul Mumin Harun expressed his gratitude to the government for the kind gesture and promised to pray to Allah for his protection, wisdom, and guidance to the President and his minister for good governance.

Sheikh Mumin Harun used the occasion to plead with the general public to cooperate with KMA to keep the city clean by not littering and abiding by the law.

“We must keep our environments clean as we keep our bodies clean. As Muslims we clean our bodies before prayers, let’s also do same in our environments and support the KMA Mayor to achieve his ambition of keeping the city clean.
