EURACARE Ghana Opens branch in Kumasi

EURACARE, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Eurapharma, the healthcare arm of the CFAO Group, has officially opened its first diagnostics and heart centre in the country.

The health facility located on the Near Ahodwo Roundabout in the Kumasi Metropolis, can boast of an extensive range of cutting-edge Siemens radiology modalities and a clinical laboratory with turn-around time for diagnosis delivery.

The clinic has specialty in non-invasive and interventional cardiology, interventional radiology, urology, erectile dysfunction, respiratory medicine, gastroenterology, gynecology and antenatal care and dental services.

It also has full time internationally trained medical consultants who are ready to offer world-class services to patients.

Dr Lambert Appiah said Radiology and diagnostics (1.5 T MRI, 64-slice CT, digital mammography, digital X-Ray, echography and ultrasound, hematology, immunoassay and biochemistry laboratory) with diagnosis in less than 3 hours.

According to Dr Lambert Appiah, the country is developing and, thus, needs such health facilities to care for the health needs of the growing middle-class so they can fully contribute to the growth of the nation.

Dr Lambert Appiah disclosed that a similar health facility has been opened in Accra, adding that the facility has the best doctors in the field to treat patients in Ghana.

He hinted that with the new facility in Ghana and the other in Lagos, EURACARE’s reach in West Africa is beginning to take shape.

On her part, Miss Sonia Adda, Business Development Manager for the facility stated that although CFAO is noted for its dealership in cars, it also has a strong arm in the medical field.
