Volunteerism brought Npp to power – Rev. Kusi Boafo

Economist and lecturer at the Kumasi polytechnic, Rev Thomas Kusi Boafo has stated that the hard work of some volunteers contributed to the victory of the Npp and not party executives.
According to him, the Npp did not have enough financial resources to run affective campaign, but some Ghanaians offered to support with no strings attached.
Reverend Boafo noted that some people including party executives have now started chasing Nana Addo for money and contracts now that victory has come.
“Most of the bigwigs who were expected to bear part of the weight associated with Nana Addo’s campaign, had all been compromised, because they had muddied their hands with contracts from the Ndc” he asserted.
Speaking on “Nyansapo” Otec FM’s flagship program, he intimated that Nana Akufo-Addo will be taking over a country that has been riddled with huge debts as a result of poor economic management on the part of the Ndc under President Mahama.
