Teacher Kofi Media and NAYAT Herbal Clinic give to widows

An online media firm Teacher Kofi Media in collaboration with Accra based NAYAT Herbal Clinic has donated items worth over GH¢8,000 to widows and orphans at Atwima Takyiman in the Kwadaso Municipality of the Ashanti Region.

The media firm which is managed  by OTEC FM’s reporter Kwame Agyenim Boateng and his compatriot at Opemsuo FM, Elijah Donkor, presented the items to over 50 widows and orphans on  Saturday December 19, 2021

The items included cloths, rice, cartons of cooking oil soap, washing powder and sardines.

Speaking at the presentation, the chief executive officer of NAYAT Herbal Clinic, Nana Yaw Tenkorang said it was the  responsibility of all  to support needy and vulnerable in society.

“Helping the needy particularly orphans is the greatest philosophy and principle I sincerely believe in”.

“The welfare of these widows and  orphans  should not be taken for granted, they were created in the likeness of God and it is therefore incumbent on us to love and care for them irrespective of their social status,” he pointed out.

He urged  benevolent organizations and individuals to emulate this gesture by contributing to the growth and development of the children living in abject poverty.

The Assembly member of Atwima Takyiman – Denkyemuoso Electoral Area David Asare ,on behalf of the widows expressed expressed his gratitude to Teacher Kofi media and NAYAT Herbal Clinic and  for the wonderful and timely offer.

“For this love you have demonstrated to these orphans and the needy, may you never lack,” he prayed for the team.

Meanwhile Elijah Donkor, Senior Producer at Teacher Kofi Media commended the following base of the online firm for supporting this initiative.

“All items presented were donated by our cherished followers and NAYAT Herbal Clinic, and so we are very grateful to them for such massive support”
