Kwadaso MP donates dual desks to schools

Inadequate student furniture has been a major setback on the provision of quality education in the Kwadaso constituency in the Ashanti region.

The massive furniture deficit has compelled two or more students share one desk in the classrooms, affecting effective teaching and learning.

To stem the tide, Member of Parliament (MP) for Kwadaso Constituency, Dr. Samiu Kwadwo Nuamah, on  September 24, 2018 donated dual desks valued at several thousands of Ghana Cedis to some selected schools in the area.

The schools included Atwima Techiman, Apatrapa RC, Four Infantry Battalion Brigade and Prempeh College Experimental basic.

Speaking to Otec News, Dr. Nkrumah stated that the donation is the first batch of furniture to be supplied to schools in the area.
According to him, the donation is in response to a concern raised when he embarked on an educational tour in the constituency.
Dr. Nuamah hinted that apart from the provision of student furniture he is working around the clock to get an Information Communication Technology (ICT) laboratory foe every school to help improve on ICT education in the Kwadaso constituency.
