Francis Adomako,  the Ashanti Regional Organiser of the New Patriotic Party says he is happy the recent budget has the youth and the unemployed at heart.

The policies outlined in the budget, he noted carries hope for the youth since it majors on youth employment and development.

Speaking to this reporter today,  Mr Adomako said any country that focuses in eliminating youth unemployment has a future.

This, he stated gives him the confidence that the government of Nana Addo is a visionary one.

” I am sure with this budget and the initiatives outlined Ghana would be able to tackle unemployment and youth development issues “, Mr Adomako posited.

Mr Adomako commended the Economic Management Team (EMT) for putting together a youth employment centered budget statement.

He noted that the policies as outlined has the potential of even exceeding the one million jobs envisaged for the youth.

Mr Adomako thanked the team for initiating policies that had the potential of not only giving jobs to the youth but helping them to become employers themselves.

“Funds allocated for the youth in entrepreneurial training would ultimately turn many of the country’s youth into job givers and employers”, Mr Adomako said.

Mr Adomako has therefore tasked the youth to take advantage and access the opportunities that lie in the budget.

This, he noted would stand them in good stead as it gives them opportunity to come out with initiatives and ideas which could get support from government.

He stated that business ideas that had the potential of creating employment avenues could easily access funds from the Youth FUND to be created as well as many others under the Fimanace Ministry.

“The youth should be hopeful and get involved in exploring the opportunities enumerated in the 2022 budget statement so that they can get jobs as well create some by themselves “, the Regional organizer stated.
