Fr. Krische R/C JHS celebrates 15 years anniversary

A renowned Catholic School in the Old Tafo Municipality of the Ashanti Region, Fr.Krische  R/C Junior High School has celebrated its fifteen years anniversary.

Speaking to the media, the headmaster of the school, Mr. Arnold Benjamin Tamakloe stated that, it was the tangible brainchild of Very Rev. Fr. Sarfo Kantanka, the then Parish Priest of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church of Tafo through which the school came into existence, the school was opened in 2008 with 82 pupils and 5 teachers.

The school being an oasis of discipline has impacted a lot of lives and has also contributed a lot to the development of the country, he added.

On the other hand, Mr. Tamakloe, called on government and Non-governmental Organizations NGOs to help them get solutions to some major problems they are facing as school, such as lack of I C T tools, etc.

Rev Fr Felix Kyei Baffour, the Parish Priest of St. John the Evangelist of Pankrono Estate and the Chaplain for Non Catholic Secondary Schools in the Kumasi Archdiocese also advised the just ended BECE grandaunts to make sure they read their books and lead a good life as they await their results.

He further urged parents to leave the choice of course to their wards and rather support them in whatever course they choose to study in school, but not impose it on them.
