Akufo-Addo sacks Adwoa Safo as Gender Minister

President Akufo-Addo has removed Gender Minister Sarah Adwoa Sarfo from office.

The decision was announced in a statement signed by the Director of Communications at the Jubilee House Eugene Arhin Thursday evening.

Sanitation Minister Cecilia Abena Dapaah will continue to act as caretaker Minister of the sector, the statement added.

Meanwhile, Parliament is set to decide the fate of the Dome Kwabenya MP following her failure to appear before the privileges committee of the House over her long absence in the chamber.
