Atwima Mponua MP gives financial support to brilliant but needy constituents

Member of Parliament (MP) for Atwima Mponua constituency in the Ashanti region, Hon Isaac Kwame Asiamh, has offered financial assistance to eleven students in his area.

The students who had their school fees paid totalling GHC20,303, are pursuing various programs at the tertiary level.

Bismark Obuorbi, the Personal Assistant to the MP, made the presentation on his behalf at Nyinahin on Wednesday, May 2, 2023.

Addressing the beneficiaries, Mr Obuorbi indicated that that was the 35th financial support to brilliant but needy students in the area.

In all 1,870 students have benefited from the MP’s benevolence, according to the Personal Assistant.

He asked the beneficiaries to “take advantage of the assistance to learn hard to achieve their desires of climbing high academic ladder”.

“You must be the ambassadors of virtue , make Atwima Mponua and Hon Asiamah proud by winning academic honors to be a challenge for other incoming beneficiaries, ” he added.

The Human Resource Officer at the Atwima Mponua Education Directorate, George Ekow Annan, thanked the MP for his good vision in helping his constituents who aspire to achieve their full potentials.

“You are the luckiest amongst hundreds who needed help, so I plead with you to increase your momentum as you press forth for glory and get better grades,” he advised the beneficiaries.

A beneficiary, Precious Agyeiwaa Kodie of KNUST, on behalf of her colleagues thanked Hon Asiamah for bringing reliefs to them and their families.

They promise to excel in their various fields of endeavors that will make good of the support from the MP.

The beneficiaries are Robert Palma (AAMUSTED), Precious Agyeiwaa Kodie, Matthew Antwi (KNUST) and Phyllis Ama Afriyie (Valleyview).

Others are Bernice Annin (Nursing and Midwifery-Kpembe), Isaac Kwame Bonsu and Juliet Antwi Agyei (Kintampo Health College), Priscilla Frimpong and Mary Mensah (Bibiani Nursing).

The rest are Godsent Oppong and Shadrach Ohene Yeboah (AAMUSTED).
