Ghana Police Service mourns 3 officers who died in an accident at Kyekyewere

The Ghana Police Service (GPS) has expressed its heartfelt grief over the tragic loss of three officers in a fatal accident.

The accident, which occurred on Wednesday, March 27, tragically claimed the lives of three officers of the Service at Kyekyewere in the Ashanti Region along the Accra-Kumasi Highway.

It is unclear what caused the accident but the Police Service say in a statement it issued Wednesday evening that the officers died while on their way for Police operational duties.

The Police Service has promised to provide further details after families of the fallen servicemen are formally informed.
