Video: ‘Kill whoever will rig Ejisu by-election’ – Independent candidate supporters invoke curses
Some sympathizers Hon Kwabena Owusu Aduomi, an Independent candidate in the pending Ejisu by-election, have invoke curse over attempts by some people to rig the polls
The sympathizers, who claim to have gathered intelligence of some individuals trying to rig the elections say they are calling on the gods to strike any individual or group who will go contrary to the rules of the polls
In a viral video shared on social media platforms, the persons in the video were seen offering a sheep and some schnapps to the Oda River
They have therefore cautioned the Electoral Commission of Ghana EC, and all stakeholders in the election to be fair to avoid any consequences from the gods
The by-election which will be held on 30th April 2024 under the management of the electoral commission seeks to election a Parliamentary candidate for the Ejisu Constituency following the demise of the Member of Parliament for the constituency John Kuma who doubled as the deputy finance minister on 7th March 2024
