Ghanaians Will Vote For Dr Bawumia, He Can Best Account To Them – Justin Kodua.
Justin Kodua Frimpong Esq, NPP General Secretary of the NPP
The General Secretary of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) Lawyer Justin Frimpong Kodua says he is confident that Ghanaians would vote for the person who they can hold to account after 2024 elections.
Speaking on Asempa fm in Accra, the NPP scribe noted that the electorate have realised that some politicians take them for granted after elections and only return to them when they need their votes one more time.
With this mindset of the Ghanaian electorate, Mr Kodua said he was certain that the mass of the people will vote for the NPP and its presidential candidate, Dr Mahamodu Bawumia.
“The only way you can get the Ghanaian politician to account for stewardship is when you know the person will come to you again for the renewal of his mandate. This i believes puts Dr Bawumia ahead since he would be coming to people again for their mandate after winning the 2024 election”, the NPP General Secretary stated.
Comparisons:
Lawyer Kodua said the NPP flag-bearer and Ghana’s Vice President, Dr Mahamodu Bawumia would be given the nod to lead the country.
He noted that the Vice President has proven to be the most hardworking of all persons who have held the position he currently occupies.
The NPP scribe said Dr Bawumia, despite being the Vice President can be credited for visible and monumental projects including the formalisation of the Ghanaian economy.
“As we speak the digitisation agenda led by the Vice President now allows everyone to pay for services or products seamlessly from their mobile phones and thereby eliminating the inconveniences we used to go through previously”, the NPP General Secretary posited.
Economic Situation:
The General Secretary admitted cost of doing business and the general conditions in the country were not as the government and the NPP would have loved.
However, Lawyer Kodua stated that the government was committed to exploring all economic measures to get the Ghanaians relief.
The General Secretary intimated that with all the issues fighting against the economy, the NPP had performed three times better in all sectors of the economy than the NDC.
“We are confident of seeing better conditions and even with the issues we are having now i can confidently say we have done better than the NDC three times more of all aspects of the economy and I challenge Fiifi Kwetey to a debate about the economy under them and the current one we are seeing”
