NPP Bono East Reg. Chair urges Ghanaians to endorse Dr Bawumia-Napo ticket

The Bono East Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Chairman Ibrahim Baba Bukari, affectionately called ‘Game Changer’, has passionately appealed to Ghanaians to trust and support the Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia-Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh (NAPO) ticket in the 2024 general elections.

 He emphasized that the duo possesses the vision, expertise, and leadership qualities necessary to propel Ghana forward.

Chairman Bukari urged electorates to vote massively for the Bawumia-NAPO ticket, ensuring a resounding victory for the NPP.

His comment follows the official unveiling of the duo by the party in the Ashanti Region.

Their unveiling in the party’s strong hold met with enthusiastic applause from party faithful, signaling a united front ahead of the polls.

According to Chairman Bukari, the Bawumia-NAPO ticket offers a unique blend of economic expertise, political acumen, and a passion for development, making them the ideal leaders to address Ghana’s challenges.

He expressed confidence that their leadership will usher in a new era of prosperity and growth for the country.

Chairman Bukari also praised the achievements of the NPP government, citing improvements in infrastructure, education, and healthcare.

He assured that the Bawumia-NAPO administration will build upon these successes and drive further progress.

NPP outdoors Napo as running mate of Bawumia

The governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) on Tuesday July 9, 2024 officially outdooring Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh as the running of mate of the presidential candidate, Mahamudu Bawumia in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.

The outdooring follows the confirmation by the National Council of the NPP of Napo as the running mate to Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.

NPP Introduces Dr. Bawumia and Dr. Opoku Prempeh to Asantehene

The ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has officially introduced their flagbearer, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, and running mate, Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh, to the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II at the Manhyia Palace in the Ashanti Region.

 President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong, and Chairman Stephen Ayensu Ntim led the delegation on Tuesday, July 9, 2024.

Presenting the duo to the Asantehene and his elders, President Akufo-Addo described Dr. Bawumia and Dr. Opoku Prempeh as the best ticket to lead Ghana for the next four years, citing their impressive track record of delivering on tasks assigned to them under his administration.

According to him, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has played a vital role in his eight year administration which he said has been very successful

Hon NAPO urges Ashanti Region to reward NPP with 85% Votes

Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh, the running mate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has made a passionate appeal to residents in the Ashanti Region to show their appreciation for Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia’s leadership by voting massively for the party in the 2024 polls.

He urged the region to deliver 85% of their votes to the NPP, citing the party’s wise decision to select a running mate from the region as a testament to their commitment to the area’s development.

Speaking at the official presentation ceremony in the Ashanti Region, Dr. Opoku Prempeh pledged to be a unifier and work diligently towards victory in the 2024 polls.

Former presidential candidate aspirant for the New Patriotic Party, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has charged leadership and executives of the party to begin a reconciliation with grieved members especially those at the grassroots to enable the party break the 8 year record of holding political power in Ghana.

According to the Outgoing Assin Central Member of Parliament, the breaking the 8 mantra can not be achieved with mete talks but rather a strong united front devoid of anger and grievances among the rank and file of the party.
