Election 2024: I’ll be president after December polls – Bawumia
The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has expressed confidence in the party’s victory in the upcoming December 7th election, citing the NPP’s achievements and track record in government as key factors that position it for success.
Speaking at a rally in Oforikrom in the Ashanti Region, Dr Bawumia highlighted several flagship programs introduced by the NPP that have, in his view, brought significant improvements to the lives of Ghanaians.
He pointed specifically to the Free Senior High School (Free SHS) policy, which has allowed thousands of students to access secondary education without financial burden, and praised other social intervention initiatives aimed at supporting low-income families and reducing poverty.
He further mentioned the Planting for Food and Jobs initiative, the One District, One Factory policy, and various digitalization reforms, arguing that these policies have strengthened the economy, created jobs, and promoted economic growth.
According to him, the NPP’s proactive approach to governance demonstrates its commitment to the welfare of Ghanaians and sets it apart as the best party to lead the nation.
Dr. Bawumia encouraged Ghanaians to support the NPP, emphasizing the need to continue on the path of development and progress that he believes only the NPP can provide.
He also assured the crowd that an NPP victory would lead to further advancements in infrastructure, healthcare, and education.
“Winning Election 2024 is in our sight. It is up to us to win Election 2024. Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is winning. He is winning. Dr. Bawumia is winning. Bawumia is going to be the president of Ghana.
