Former Member of Parliament for Techiman North Professor Christopher- Ameyaw Akumfi is urging NPP supporters and sympathisers to vote for the party’s presidential Canadidate, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia and the respective Parliamentary candidates and not independent candidates.
At a meeting with Constituency and Polling Station, executives at Karank, Nkoransah North Constituency in the Bono East Region, the Board Chairman of the Paublic Procurement Authority (PPA) also charged the
to intensify their house to house campaign to ensure a resounding victory for the party in next month’s elections.
Professor Ameyaw -Akumfi, who is also a member of the council of elders of the party, appealed to all party members to go out to vote on election day.
The former Education and Ports, Harbors and Railways Minister stressed the need for the leadership in the region to lead the campaign in the community since they live with the people in their various homes.
He donated an undisclosed amount of money to support the work of the polling station executives.
He was accompanied on his tour by the former Bono East regional Chairman, Thomas Adu Appiah, Hon. Peter Mensah, former DCE for Techiman North, Mr. Peter Osei-Fosu, the District Chief Executive for Nkroansa, Jacqueline Boatemaa Bonsu Parliamentary for Nkroasa North, and some other party activists.
