Fire Outbreak Destroys Properties at Afful Nkwanta in Kumasi
A devastating fire outbreak at Afful Nkwanta near Bretuoba Hotel in the Ashanti Region has left several residents in despair after losing their properties.
According to eyewitnesses, the fire started around 2:30 a.m., but the cause remains unknown. Residents immediately called the National Fire Service at the Manhyia branch, but by the time firefighters arrived, the inferno had already consumed everything in the affected building.
In an interview with OTEC News reporters Solomon Nimo and Maame Akua Asarebea, victims recounted their losses, which include houses, shops, machines, refrigerators, clothing, and an unknown amount of money, among other valuables.
The affected residents are pleading with the government, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and kind-hearted individuals to provide immediate assistance to help them recover from the tragic incident.
