Ejura Chief urges security agencies to crack down on illicit drug bases at Ejura

The Chief of Ejura Divisional Council, Barimah Osei Hwedie II, has made a passionate appeal to security agencies in the area to take decisive action against illicit drug bases.

This call to action is aimed at protecting the unsuspecting youth in the area from the dangers of drug abuse.

According to Barimah Osei Hwedie II, safeguarding the youth requires a collective effort from security agencies, and he emphasized the need for a concerted approach to tackle the issue.

The chief made these remarks during a meeting with security agencies, assembly members, chiefs, and opinion leaders to discuss strategies for combating illicit drug dealings in the area on Sunday
In a show of support, Barimah Osei Hwedie II pledged that the traditional council will provide financial assistance to security agencies to facilitate their operations.
Furthermore, he urged youth and parents in the area to play their part in fighting against drug bases, with the ultimate goal of making Ejura a better place for all.
