
The Board Chairman of Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB), Professor Joshua Alarbi, has praised the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, for his unwavering commitment to national development and private sector growth.
Speaking at the Ghana Business Leaders’ Conclave, Prof. Alarbi said the Asantehene continues to demonstrate visionary leadership and deep wisdom in advancing youth employment and Africa’s progress.
“The Asantehene has once again demonstrated his visionary leadership, deep wisdom and commitment to national development, private sector growth, youth employment and African progress,” he stated.
The conclave, convened by Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, was held at the University of Professional Studies on May 15, 2026.
Organised by the Otumfuo Centre for Traditional Leadership , it was held under the theme “Leading with Integrity: Negotiation, Mediation and Ethical Governance for Business Sustainability.”
The event seeks to bridge traditional wisdom with contemporary business strategy and will focus on ethical governance, negotiation, mediation, and sustainability practices.
Prof. Alarbi said GCB sponsored the event to support growth and development, noting that the partnership aligns fully with the bank’s mission.
He pledged GCB’s continued commitment to supporting projects that will propel Ghana’s growth and development.
