Several feared dead after vehicle crashes into pedestrians at Bukom Junction

Several people are feared dead after a vehicle reportedly rammed into a group of pedestrians at Bukom Junction in the Ga Mashie community on Monday, July 27.

According to eyewitnesses, the vehicle is suspected to have suffered brake failure before crashing into the group.

The exact number of casualties has not yet been confirmed. However, eyewitnesses told Citi  News that more than three people are believed to have died, including a pregnant woman and a child.

Emergency responders, including personnel from the Ghana Police Service and the National Ambulance Service, were at the scene attending to the injured and conveying victims.

Authorities are yet to officially confirm the cause of the crash or the number of fatalities and injuries.
