Former Energy Minister, Boakye Agyarko, says helping the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and Dr. Bawumia to win the 2028 polls is his last legacy wish for the party.
“Once I deliver power for the NPP, then I will know I have delivered for the party I love so much, the party I have served since 1992,” he said.
He said this after filing his nomination to contest as the party’s National Chairman.
Addressing party members on Wednesday, Boakye Agyarko said the New Patriotic Party needs more than just a presidential victory in the 2028 polls for Dr. Bawumia to lead.
He noted that the party has to work and deliver more parliamentary seats in order to implement their policies smoothly.
He urged party members to support this ambition by giving him the opportunity to lead as National Chairman in the coming National Executive Elections.
