Ahafo Ano South West: MP involved in ghastly accident while taking SHS students to school
The Member of Parliament for Ahafo Ano South West, Hon. Elvis Osei Mensah Dapaah, has been involved in a ghastly accident on the Manso Nkwanta – Kumasi road in the Ashanti Region.
The MP and two others who were with him sustained serious injuries and are currently receiving treatment.
According to reports, the MP was returning from a trip after leading some BECE graduates from his constituency to their posted schools to begin Senior High School education.
Speaking to OTEC News reporter Kwame Agyenim Boateng on Friday, former Youth Organizer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) at Ahafo Ano South West, Nkansa Ababio, said the MP had visited over nine different schools before the accident.
“Following problems faced by students in his constituency, the MP set out himself to lead the students to solve the problem,” he said.
“He had visited nine different schools prior to the accident.”
Nkansah noted that the MP is responding to treatment, adding that the two others who were with him have all been discharged from the hospital.
