Obuasi SHTS Sex Scandal: Police say possibility of outsider burying fetus near school high
The Obuasi Police Commander, Chief Superintendent Mahama Iddrisu, says police believe the possibility of an outsider burying the alleged fetus at the scene around Obuasi Senior High Technical School is higher than someone from the school.
According to him, the scene from where the headmaster of the school is alleged to have buried the fetus is very far from the school, raising suspicion that someone from outside the school can also do same.
He however noted police are still investigating the matter to get to the bottom of the matter.
He noted farmers working around the scene have all been questioned as part of the ongoing investigation.
He said this when chiefs from Adanse Traditional Area visited the scene to pour libation.
He clarified that investigations around the alleged sexual scandal at Obuasi Senior High Technical School is being handled at the regional level.
However, the assault and destruction of properties by students are being investigated by the local police command.
Police have urged the public to remain calm and allow the investigations to continue.
