The Ashanti Regional Organiser for the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Francis Adomako on Monday donated food items, bottled and sachet water, toiletries and detergents as well as some unspecified amount of cash to two Health Facilities in the New Edubiase Constituency in Ashanti.

The gesture to the New Edubiase Government Hospital and a Chp Compound in the Edubiase community was to honour God for adding another year to his age.

Speaking to the media after presenting the items at separate venues, Mr Adomako said he had come far in life due to the express grace of God Almighty.

“As a custom and something inbuilt i show appreciation to God on my birthdays by choosing either an orphanage or a hospital  to donate some items the authorities may need and today i decided on giving to health facilities in this orphan constituency and to also take the opportunity to interact with persons including NPP members here”, Mr Adomako stated.

Desire:

Mr Adomako said his desire was to always see people do well especially those at the hospitals, orphanages and deprived communities.

He noted that just as government was doing its part to provide support to the people in terms of the provision of health facilities, employment avenues and acesss to potable water as well as others, Individuals could also contribute to making lives easier for the people they live with especially the needy.

Mr Adomako said he was upbeat that with the picking up of the economy, a turnaround was in sight so that life could be bearable for all.

“I am positive that things would turn out well for all Ghanaians because most of the policies this government laid down in the first term were bearing fruits and 2024 would be a good year for us as the economy picks up to offer jobs for the youth as well as the ability for all to have access to basic amenities including persons living in deprived communities”, the Regional organiser noted.

Reception:

Receiving the consumables and cash donation by the NPP Regional Organiser, New Edubiase District HealthDirector, Mr Robert Mensah said his outfit was grateful for the gesture.

“This hospital is government supported but the items donated are  needed here since we use same to attend to the large number of people that visit and so we are grateful to Mr Adomako for the gesture”, the Director stated.

The In-Charge at the Obomsu Chp Compound also blessed Mr Adomako for the gesture.

She noted that the facility attends to several cases from the Edubiase communities and would use the items to address the situations at the place.
