Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, the presidential candidate for the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), has begun his 15-day tour of the Ashanti Region with a resounding welcome at Ntobroso in the Atwima Mponua Constituency.
Thousands of enthusiastic party supporters gathered to greet Dr. Bawumia, demonstrating their unwavering support for the NPP.
During his visit, Dr. Bawumia met with residents, stakeholders, chiefs, and clergy, who pledged their utmost support to the NPP.
They acknowledged the significant infrastructural developments in the constituency over the last eight years, including improvements in roads, education, healthcare, and other economic sectors .
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Bawumia expressed his gratitude to the constituents for backing his bid to lead the party. He vowed to deliver competent leadership and urged voters to endorse his presidential candidacy, emphasizing that the NPP’s track record of fulfilling promises makes them the ideal choice to lead Ghana.
Nana Akrofoso Hene, Takra Mensah, also endorsed Dr. Bawumia’s candidacy, further solidifying support for the NPP in the region.
He added that, Dr. Bawumia’s vision for Ghana focuses on creating a prosperous and inclusive nation, leveraging technology and data for economic growth.
