CCC Presents Start Well Conference With Dr Otabil on Thursday
CCC General Overseer, Reverend Ransford Obeng
The General Overseer of Calvary Charismatic Center (CCC), Reverend Ransford Obeng has urged Ghanaian citizens to live responsible lives as the country strives to become a modern society.
Addressing the media in Kumasi on Tuesday ahead of a three day spiritual empowerment program beginning this Thursday with Dr Mensa Otabil dubbed the “Start Well Conference”, Reverend Obeng said recent deaths at Obuasi could have been avoided if citizens adhered to the rule of law in the country.
Sounding sad, the CCC General Overseer said it was unthinkable that some persons would want to enter a mining field that did not belong to them.
However, Reverend Obeng also wondered if the only remedy to the illegal action by the invaders was for the military to kill them as reports suggest.
Starting Well:
Speaking about the upcoming Start Well Conference With Dr Otabil from the 23rd to the 25th of January, Reverend Obeng said the prohramme was meant to help all citizens to become aware of how they could turn their new year resolutions into reality.
He noted that many people start the new year with good intentions.
However, Reverend Obeng stated that many abandon their resolutions midstream after encountering challenges along the way.
“This Start Well Conference which commences at 6pm on Thursday and Friday with a leadership summit at 8am on Saturday have been designed to allow God through his servant Dr Mensa Otabil to direct as well as help us focus our minds on our new year resolutions so that we can fulfill them by the end of the year”, the CCC General Overseer stressed.
Support for Government:
Reverend Obeng urged Ghanaians to support the new NDC government by living responsible lives.
He noted that anything the people would do can either help the government to do well or not since the executive arm of government needs the population to support its programmes for a successful implementation.
Reverend Obeng also tasked the government to fulfill to the people policies and ideas it promised during the campaign periods of 2024.
“I urge Ghanaians to support the NDC government to implement its ideas snd policies so that together we can enjoy the fruits of a better economy”, the CCC General Overseer advised.
