E/R: Margins group staff enstooled as chief of Apapam-Esaase
The Western North regional manager for the Foreigners Identity Management Systems (FIMS), a subsidiary of the Margins group, Mr. George Nana Effah Boadu (King Bobo) has been enstooled as chief of Apapam-Esaase under the Kyebi Traditional Council in the Eastern region with the stool name, Baffour Nana Kwaku Sono Sikabede IV.
Addressing a huge gathering after swearing the Oath of allegiance to Chief of Apapam Okogyeaman Opagyafori IV, Baffour Kwaku Sono promised to use his connections and current position as a chief lobby for developmental projects from both government and NGO’s.
“Apapam-Esaase is our own and all we have and as a chief, I have it at heart to see this town develop and expand. Establishment of a Senior High School or TVET to promote quality education, infrastructure development, promoting tourism and support to small scale industries will be our main focus for starters.
Baffour Kweku Sono emphasized that it was time for all natives of Apapam-Esaase to join hands and contribute to the development of the town.
He also urged his people to maintain the peace and harmony which exist amongst them to foster the development and growth of the town.
The colourful event which was held at the forecourt of Okyeaman fie was attended by several dignitaries including members of the clergy, security personnel, some staff of the Margins group led by their Ashanti Regional supervisor, Mr. Dennis Amankrah.
Also in attendance were Rev. John Darku (CFAN African Director), Enchi GIS sector commander C/Supt. Ayamga, MP for Akwatia Hon. Ernest Kumi, Former DCE for Akwatia Hon. Birinkorang and several others.
