KATH Staff Debunk Claims Of Irregular Employment

Highly placed sources within the Management of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) have laughed off claims by one Nayaz, an NDC aligned social media activist that the CEO was involved in the employment of persons using irregular methods.
The sources also debunked the assertion that the CEO since his appointment has been employing only NPP known persons as staff.
Speaking to this reporter Friday morning, a management member said he was surprised that the social media activist could come up with such a story which has no legs.
“Since assumption of office, Professor Otchere Addai-Mensah has shown now interest in the discussion of anything party politics since he believes service to KATH is service to Ghana and nothing else”, the management member stated.
Mischievous Elements:
Speaking on condition of anonymity, a staff at the security unit said if the current government want to see development at the hospital they can find same maintaining the current CEO.
Petty thefts and stealing that went on here at the hospital, the staff noted had suddenly stopped.
He noted that the CEO has beefed up security and ensured proper scrutiny of individuals who go in and out of the hospital.
“I am sure the person who is speculating that the CEO is employing people illegally and irregularly was here he would have had a change of heart because this CEO sees all staff here ad Ghanaians and not people with political colours”, the security staff intimated.
