A/R: Teenage robber guns down Okada Rider at Adugyama

A horrific incident has occurred at Adugyama in the Ahafo Ano South East District of the Ashanti Region, where a young man, believed to be in his early 18s, allegedly shot an Okada rider to death.

Some  eyewitness in an interview with OTEC News Reporter Kwame Agyenim Boateng said , the suspect fled the scene with the victim’s motorbike, leaving the Okada rider to die.

The incident, which occurred on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, is currently under investigation by the local police, who are yet to identify both the suspect and the victim.

In a surprising twist, residents revealed that the suspect was involved in an accident while attempting to escape and was rushed to Mankranso Hospital.

Okada riders in the area reportedly stormed the hospital, intent on killing the suspect, but timely police intervention prevented further violence.

 The suspect is now in police custody.
