Kumasi: Gory accident at Atonsu high-tension claims one life; three others injured (Photos)
A tragic accident on the Atonsu-Agogo highway involving a motorcycle (Aboboyaa) and a drilling vehicle has resulted in the death of one and three others severely injured
The worrying incident occurred on Fiday, April 11,2025, around 10:30 am at a place called Atonsu High-tension
According to a report by OTEC FM’S Osei Akoto Kanu, the Aboboyaa rider attempted a wrongful overtaking, which left the drilling vehicle driver no option than to hit the Aboboyaa from behind, causing severe damage to the motorcycle
The Aboboyaa was trapped under the drilling vehicle for about 30 meters before it could stop
The Aboboyaa rider, according to eyewitnesses, died on the spot, leaving his mate who was sitting beside him in a severe condition
The police have sent the body to Agogo hospital, and the mate is on admission at the same hospital battling for his life
