ARCC offers free counseling sessions for individuals traumatized by helicopter crash

The Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council (ARCC) has announced free psychology and counseling sessions for individuals in the region who may have been traumatized by the recent fatal helicopter crash at Adanse Akrofuom.
According to the Ashanti Regional Minister, Hon. Dr. Frank Amoakohene, the initiative is being organized in conjunction with the Ashanti Regional Health Directorate and the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH).
The sessions aim to provide support and counseling to those affected by the tragic incident, which claimed eight lives, including two ministers and other top government and Ghana Air Force officials.
Dr. Amoakohene announced on this on Sunday August 10 2025.
He noted that health experts would be available to provide psychological support to anyone in need.
This move is part of efforts to ensure residents in the region can cope with the trauma and live in peace while the nation mourns together.
